Our Mission
The SPACE Lab aspires to elevate the experiences of marginalized populations, dismantle systematic injustices, and transform the way inclusion is cultivated in engineering through the implementation of novel technologies and methodologies in engineering education.
About Our Lab
We have an inclusive SPACE where students at all levels and from a host of disciplinary backgrounds come together to tackle some of the most challenging issues in engineering education. All members of our lab share in the goal of establishing inclusive engineering environments that position all students and faculty to thrive. Specifically, exploring the intersections of engineering education, mental health and social justice, our work employs transdisciplinary approaches to push the bounds of traditionally heteronormative engineering environments.
